Setting Boundaries at Work with Coworkers – PROTECTION
Setting boundaries at work is a challenge for everyone. The real essence of this challenge lies in setting boundaries at work with coworkers. If you struggle to speak up for yourself at work or say no, this video with Mike Veny will teach you how to set boundaries with coworkers and even how to set boundaries with your boss.
Mike Veny is a workplace mental health speaker who also delivers mental health in the workplace training. As the CEO of his own company, he’s become a master at learning how to set boundaries with coworkers at work. If you are looking for a boundaries in the workplace training, this video with Mike Veny is a great place to start.
Learning to set boundaries in the workplace and maintaining professional boundaries in the workplace are skills that most of us aren’t taught. We eventually discover that we need to do this when we become stressed, exhausted or burned out. These skills can prevent that from happening.
Setting boundaries in the workplace includes clarifying expectations. Years ago, one of Mike’s friends taught him that “clearing up expectations on the front end avoids problems on the back end.”. He took this to heart and became intentional about constantly clarifying expectations with coworkers.
Learning how to say no at work is another aspect of setting boundaries. And yes, it’s possible to learn how to say no at work without feeling guilty.
Speaking of feeling guilty, we sometimes feel guilty by simply thinking about the idea of professional boundaries in the workplace.
There is nothing to feel guilty about. It’s absolutely necessary. In fact, setting boundaries in the workplace are critical to your mental wellness and career success.

Why Is It So Hard To Let Yourself Grieve?
http://www.mikeveny.com
Why is it so hard to let yourself grieve? In this video, Mike Veny explains why it’s so hard to let yourself grieve or even give yourself permission to grieve.
Mike Veny is a Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist®, author, mental health speaker, course instructor and the CEO of Mike Veny, Inc.
WARNING: He’s not a mental health professional. If you are thinking of harming yourself, someone else or are in need of medical help, please consult a doctor. If you are in an emergency, please call 911.
In this video, he discusses the following:
1 – Control and grief. If you’ve ever thought, “Why is it difficult for me to cry?”, you need to understand this.
2 – Not being ready to grieve.
Mike has been mentored, by Jon Terrell, a therapist who specializes in dealing with difficult emotions. Mike began a relationship with him after attending one of his emotional healing retreats. Through this life-changing experience with grief work, he learned that it was less about dealing with difficult emotions and more about working with difficult emotions. Also, he no longer believes that men can’t cry.
The grieving process is extremely difficult. It’s important to learn how to grieve a loss, how to grieve a relationship or how to grieve death. Letting yourself cry is important, but you first must give yourself permission to grieve.
