Are You Feeling Fear, Grief, or Anger? Watch This…
There are 3 emotions that have been wreaking havoc on the world since the pandemic began—fear, grief, and anger.
These three emotions are often referred to as “difficult emotions” or “negative emotions”. An important part of mental health awareness and being emotionally well is learning how to recognize your emotions and process them in a healthy way.
As someone who has lived with mental health challenges for my entire life, these are three emotions that I am very familiar with. Anger management was a struggle for me. Fear was an issue in my life along with how to manage grief. And while I used to think that they were bad emotions, I’ve since learned that they are important emotions that we need for success.
In this video, I’m going to share a few ways to reframe how you think about the difficult emotions like fear, grief, or anger you’re experiencing in life right now.
By learning to sit with your emotions and process them, you can turn them into powerful tools in your life.

Minority Mental Health Month 2020 (Actionable)
Today I’m going to talk with you about minority mental health.
July is Minority Mental Health month and 2020 has been a year full of anxiety and trauma for everyone, and even more so for those in minority communities. The COVID pandemic has hit many minorities harder than others and the racial injustice in the country has continued to add to the mental health challenges people are facing.
As a black man that has lived with mental health challenges, I want to share 5 things that I’ve observed and researched about minority mental health to help transform the stigma around it.
With that, here’s a quick overview of what’s in the video:
1. We have to talk about poverty when addressing mental health.
2. There’s a lack of mental health resources in the minority community.
3. We need to factor culture into the mental health conversation.
4. We need to look at trends and behavior to see what needs to be addressed.
5. The church can play a central role in addressing minority mental health.
In short, this video will show you actionable ways that you can help address minority mental health in 2020.
AND I’M ISSUING YOU A ***CHALLENGE***, FRIEND!
1) Film yourself sharing your own personal experience with fighting the mental health stigma (on Instagram Stories or YouTube or any other platform you prefer).
