Workplace Strategies for Mental Health and Wellness – SIMPLE
Workplace strategies for mental health are critical for employee productivity, team performance and company profits. In fact, what you really want to focus on is workplace strategies for mental health and wellness. In this video, Mike Veny gives you 3 strategies that you can begin using immediately. Whether you are an employee, manager, director, vice president, or the CEO, this video is for you.
Since most of us spend the majority of our waking hours at work, workplace mental health needs to become a priority in our society. Mental health issues in the workplace are hurting employees and companies. Over the past decade, the subject of mental health has gained more visibility, but we still have a long way to go. Advertisements and campaigns tell us that we need to talk about it, but how do navigate those conversations in the real world?
Mental health conversations in the workplace are tricky in particular, so Mike discusses how to talk about mental health in the workplace in this video. He also discusses how to get leadership on board with it.
Learning how to relieve work stress is important, but addressing this is much more complex than that. One thing that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought to light is that employee mental health and mental wellness in the workplace must be a companies top priority. A focus mental health in the workplace Australia has made the continent a pioneer this movement. Organizations there have done an incredible job of transforming mental health stigma in the workplace.
Mike Veny is a mental health speaker who delivers workplace mental health tips and workplace mental health awareness presentations. This a very simple and one of the best mental health in the workplace videos that you could watch.

Today you’re going to learn EXACTLY how you can quickly begin to improve your mental health with self-care as a middle school or high school student (step by step).
In fact, in this video, I’m going to share with you 3 actionable things that you can start doing today that will help you reduce and control the stress in your life.
With that, here’s a quick overview of what’s in the video:
Too often there are news headlines that show that America’s youth are struggling with mental health. From suicides to school shootings, we can see the proof that students are struggling. And even though I’m an adult, I get it because I struggled with my own mental health throughout my childhood and teenage years.
Now as a mental health speaker, I enjoy getting to travel the country and talk about school mental health with middle school and high school students. One of the things that I like to do is share self-care tips with students. A lot of students don’t realize they are experiencing problems with their mental health because they call it “stress” instead.
The three tips I share in this video are great ways to start self-care for students:
Get yourself up in the morning
Do a mind sweep throughout the day
Three self-care questions to ask yourself
When you learn how to include these three things in your day, it can help you start to control and manage stress and improve your mental health. Whether you’re looking for self-care for middle schoolers or self-care activities for high school students, this is a great place to get started.
These tips won’t take your depression away, but they can help you learn to make your depression more manageable.
Leave information on hotlines and free resources to reach out to if you’re having a rough time.
In short, this video will show you actionable ways you can reduce stress and mental health challenges by improving your self-care in 2019.

How to Stay Sane Working from Home in a Pandemic – QUICK RELIEF
How to stay sane working from home – what you really want to know is how to stay sane working from home in a pandemic. In this video, Mike Veny will give you 5 tips on working from home effectively.
Like you, he’s been working from home during the pandemic and has developed specific strategies to keep him mentally well. As a mental health in the workplace speaker, he’s learned to deliver presentations from his home and has become a Certified Virtual Presenter.
While this video doesn’t address topics like how to balance homeschool and work, it still offers you general guidance for working from home with kids.
Mike Veny’s tips on working from home include taking breaks, stretching, asking for what you need from others, getting out of the house and sitting with your feelings. This is the beginning of how to work from home efficiently and how to focus when working from home.
* Oftentimes we forget to take breaks during our workday (or even stop working at the end of the day).
* Stretching doesn’t require a gym and can be done almost anywhere.
* Asking for what you need from others is difficult whether you are living through a pandemic or not.
* Getting out of the house is important and needs to be done safely (wearing a mask and social distancing).
* Learning to sit with your feelings is hard, especially when it comes to difficult emotions like anger, grief and fear.
Pandemic aside, these are some great remote working tips that will help you with remote working time management. Applying these to your life will help you to maintain your sanity as we navigate this pandemic.
So if you want to learn how to not go crazy working from home or you simply want some remote working tips and tricks, then you need to watch this video.
